The main purpose of this zine is to create a resource for folks who want more options when it comes to reading about gender. The zines listed and excerpted inside focus on the breakdown of the binary gender system and explore the varied personal experiences that people have with gender. Reading these zines have challenged the way I perceive gender and gendered politics. I have also been thrilled to see my experiences mirrored and validated in ways that do not happen often in other mainstream media.
