A significant milestone in the effort to meet some of the social needs of individuals with the trans- sexual condition was reached in San Francisco in January at the Glide Memorial Church. A planning seminar, moderated by Officer Elliott R. Blackstone of The Police Community Relations Unit and sponsored by the National Transsexual Counseling Unit, attracted scores of professional people in relevant fields and supportive services.
