Don’t be a Drag, Just be a Priest: The Clothing and Identity of the Galli of Cybele in the Roman Republic and Empire

In this article Mowat argues that they took a non-binairy social role within Roman society. Mowat use neopronouns to refer to them and suggest that drag-theory can give new insights in the historical debat on the galli.
